Aries is the first astrological sign of the zodiac, March 20 - April 19. The ruling planet of Aries is Mars, giving this sign an active and outward energy. Aries is a confident and natural born leader, always direct and to the point. However like the ram that represents this sign, Aries can be stubborn, confrontational and impatient.

In this illustration it was important to capture Aries personality and beauty. The ram horns in this drawing represent the ram, the constellation tattoo on the woman's shoulder is the astrology constellation for Aries. At the bottom is the zodiac symbol for Aries while in the background is a lovely floral wreath of honey suckle flowers which are the flower for this sign.
